I recently stayed here while attending the Adele and Coldplay concerts, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. During concert events, hotel prices in Munich tend to surge, but Hotel Eder offered a very reasonable rate, making it an excellent choice. The location is fantastic—it's conveniently close to public transport, including trams and the DB, which made getting around the city a breeze. The hotel is also within walking distance to the old town, allowing me to explore Munich’s historical sites without hassle. Surrounded by a variety of restaurants, the area has plenty to offer. I was particularly pleased to find a kebab shop nearby that stays open late, perfect for grabbing a bite after the concerts. The room, while compact, was more than adequate for a solo traveler. It was clean and thoughtfully designed, with a well-maintained washroom. The shower room was particularly impressive; it was efficiently partitioned to prevent water from splashing onto the floor, and the drain worked flawlessly. Breakfast was a delightful experience. Served in their cozy, boutique-style cafeteria, the meal was a great way to start the day. The variety and quality exceeded my expectations. What stood out the most was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. They were always ready to assist with a smile. Overall, Hotel Eder offers excellent value, especially during peak event periods. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Munich.

The hotel is located in an excellent location: around the corner, a five-minute walk away, Munich Central Station is incredibly convenient. There is also an entrance to the metro. If you choose this hotel, then you save a lot of time and money on travel! There are offices of car rental companies with paid parking within a seven-minute walk - it was also incredibly convenient. And we didn't know all about it until we checked into the hotel. The main attractions of the city are within walking distance - we walked for about 10-15 minutes with a stroller. People in the reviews wrote about problems with the construction - there are no problems, maybe they were noisy during the day, but during the day we walked around the city, and at night it was absolutely quiet. People in the reviews write that they could not get into the hotel at night - yes, at night you can only get into the hotel with a card (you need to arrive at the designated check-in time). Breakfast at the hotel is incredibly tasty and varied! Everything in the rooms is simple, but neat, perfectly clean.

nice rustic type pension, typical single room with bed and work area, tea making surface, smallish bathroom. Breakfast was well set out out though not a lot of room, typical continental food, sadly while they had a toaster no white/brown bread and no English tea finished up buying my own, staff very helpful was here when the snow came 3feet and Munich ground to a halt, they were full every night High marks to reception and Breakfast Ladies who were above and beyond. Would stay again thought not cheep!!

Staff are all very helpful and kind. Our bags had been lost in transit by the airline and the receptionist was most helpful when the bags were finally returned to us. Lovely powerful shower. Slept well, quiet location. Very central location - only 200 metres from the main BahnHof Railway Station. Only minutes to walk to the start of the main 'tourist' route, down Neuhauser Strasse and from there to the Marienplatz and Viktualen Markt. etc.etc.

Cozy room with comfortable beds, with featherdown comforters and pillows. Cute historic decor. The windows opened three different ways so you could have fresh air even if it was raining without letting the rain inside. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful! The location was close to all the different public transportation options and only a short walk to Marienplatz. The Continental breakfast was fantastic each day!
